Founder & Managing Director
Credentials: MBA from INSEAD, B.Sc. in Hospitality Management from Trisakti School of Tourism, 20+ years in Indonesian luxury hospitality (ex-Aman Resorts, Four Seasons Jakarta).
Bio: Budi is the visionary behind Anambas Yacht and the driving force of the Juara Holding Group. A native of Jakarta with a lifelong passion for Indonesia’s maritime heritage, Budi spent two decades managing some of the world’s most exclusive resorts. He saw a gap in the market for a truly UHNW-focused offering in Indonesia’s remote archipelagos. Budi combines his deep understanding of five-star service standards with an intricate knowledge of Indonesian business and regulatory landscapes, ensuring every charter is executed with flawless precision and cultural authenticity.
Captain Iwan Kusuma
Head of Marine Operations
Credentials: Master Mariner (Ahli Nautika Tingkat I – ANT I) from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, STCW Certified, 25 years of command experience on private yachts and commercial vessels across the Indonesian archipelago.
Bio: Captain Iwan is the guardian of our fleet and the safety of our guests. His experience navigating the challenging and often poorly charted waters of eastern Indonesia is unparalleled. He personally oversees the maintenance schedules, crew training, and safety protocols for every vessel in our portfolio. Captain Iwan’s calm demeanor and encyclopedic knowledge of the Riau Islands’ currents, weather patterns, and hidden anchorages ensure that every voyage is not just safe, but perfectly optimized for the best possible experience.
Dr. Rina Wulandari
Lead Conservation & Dive Advisor
Credentials: Ph.D. in Marine Biology from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), PADI Course Director, former researcher for WWF Indonesia’s Coral Triangle Program.
Bio: Dr. Rina is our scientific conscience and the architect of our underwater experiences. With over 15 years of research focused on the Anambas and Natuna seas, she possesses an intimate understanding of the region’s marine biodiversity. She designs our dive and snorkel itineraries to showcase the most vibrant reefs while minimizing ecological impact. Dr. Rina also leads our sustainability initiatives, liaising with the Anambas Foundation and training our crew in reef-safe practices and citizen science data collection. Her onboard briefings transform a simple dive into a profound educational journey.
Isabelle Chen
Head of Client Relations
Credentials: Certified Travel Associate (CTA), 15 years experience in UHNW client management with private banks and luxury concierge services in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Bio: Isabelle is the master of bespoke service. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Indonesia, she is the primary point of contact for our clients and their representatives. Her expertise lies in translating complex requests into seamless logistical realities. From arranging private jet arrivals at Batam’s Hang Nadim International Airport (BTH) to sourcing rare ingredients for our chefs, Isabelle ensures that every preference is anticipated and every need is met with grace and discretion. Her network across Southeast Asia’s luxury sector is instrumental in crafting the pre- and post-charter elements of our guests’ journeys.
Chef Agung Nugraha
Executive Culinary Director
Credentials: Culinary Arts degree from STP Bandung, extensive experience in 5-star hotel kitchens (Mulia Bali, St. Regis) and as a private chef on superyachts.
Bio: Chef Agung believes that cuisine is a gateway to culture. He curates our onboard dining experiences, blending international gourmet standards with the unique flavors of the Indonesian archipelago. He has cultivated a network of local fishermen and organic farmers in the Anambas, ensuring that our galleys are stocked with the freshest possible ingredients—from line-caught coral trout to wild-harvested spices. Chef Agung works directly with clients to design personalized menus that cater to any dietary requirement or culinary desire, making every meal a memorable event.
